My Top 15 Favorite Spider-Man Villians

With the success of The Amazing Spider-Man movie and this year is Spidey's 50th anniversary, I think I should give out some more Spidey stuff.

In the equivalent of Batman, Spidey has the most memorable rogues in the Marvel Universe. His countless number of enemies are one of the things that makes Spider-Man so great.

If you are a Spider-Man fans, you would love his nemesis' that they will do whatever it takes to squish him like a bug. For me, I want to share the following villians who I love.

These are my top 15 favorite Spider-Man villians!

15 - HOBGOBLIN: He's like one of the villians I admired since the 90's cartoon. Though he's not as great as the Green Goblin, the burning red eyes and the orange hood with a demonic face are eligible enough for him to make it on my list.
14 - CHAMELEON: As one of the first ever villians who appeared in the first issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, you can never tell who he disguising as. I guess that explains why he is called The Chameleon.
13 - RHINO: It's hard not to take this guy seriously when he has a simple name and run around wearing a rhinoceros suit. My favorite moment with Rhino is in the Spider-Man 2000 video game that whenever I dodge him while he's running towards me, Spidey would go like "Look out for that wall!""Toro! Toro!""Ooh, did'ja hurt your tusky-wusky?"
12 - KRAVEN THE HUNTER: This guy is crazy about hunting down each of his prey. His instinct of any kind of wild animals is worthy to be part of my list. And would you believe he nearly successfully killed Spidey is the event "Kraven's Last Hunt?"
11 - SHOCKER: Perhaps the reason why I love this oven-gloved claded criminal is that he has a badass voice in the 90's cartoon.
10 - THE LIZARD: Poor Dr. Connor has to continue to deal with this mistake each time his right arm grows back to become the ferocious Lizard. Speaking of The Lizard, while I'm not impressed about his appearance in the The Amazing Spider-Man movie, I'm actually glad he gets to appear in the silver screen.
9 - ELECTRO: Of all of the Pokemons, my favorite is Pikachu, because I like electricity. For Electro, he can give this list a "charge" into it. Get it? "Charge?"
8 - SANDMAN: Because that he didn't appear in the 90's cartoon, I didn't know much about him before. That is until I eventually learn his existance. It's amazing how a big guy made out of sand can bend into any shapes and forms.
7 - SCORPION: A scorpion is a natural predator of a spider. It's very clever to create this villian. My favorite depiction of him is from the 90's cartoon.
6 - MYSTERIO: Behold, The Master of Illusion! I never take this magician like villian for granted because... look at him! He has a fishbowl for a head! How can you not make fun of that? XD
5 - THE KINGPIN: One of the most notorious crime boss of comics. This large and calculating mastermind is worthy to have the word "King" in his name. It's worth saying that I love each scenes he has in the 90's cartoon.
4 - DOCTOR OCTOPUS: Honestly, I wanted to list Doc Ock and Gobby as a tie because I can't decide who I love more from this point. Anyway, Doc Ock is one of the first few villians I always remember since the 90's cartoon. It's sad to see he is dying in the more recent Spidey comics, but other than that, he is brilliant.
3 - GREEN GOBLIN: To tell you the truth, I never liked Gobby at first. But because of the first movie, I love him now. I can see why he is known to be one of Spidey's greatest foes along with Doc Ock and Venom.
2 - CARNAGE: I freakin' love this homicidal crimson-claded bloodthirsty maniac!! He like one of the most powerful and dangerous villians ever existed in comics. I couldn't forget his biggest accomplishment in the event Maximum Carnage that he and his "family" has killed over a hundred civilians of New York City and also influence these civilians that life is meaningless, chaos is the way.
1 - VENOM: Oh, come on now. We all seen this coming that he is number one in my list. Of all the Spider-Man villians I love, Venom is, was, and always the best in my list. Why? Because he is not only considered as a villian because he wants to kill Spidey, he also claims that he's a hero too. Always want to protect the innocent but unlike most heroes, he disregards the moral code which is that superhero cannot kill. He on the hand, never allows any criminals for redemptions but punish them with death instead!
